Serbian to English: Tecnical Report General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Construction / Civil Engineering
Translation - English The ceiling system is designed as a suspended grid ceiling KNAUF AMF - THERMATEX Plain or adequately, made of 600x600mm mineral panels, 15mm thick on the appropriate metal substructure. System C, (SK24), square edged (SK) ceiling panels are laid into the steel substructure 24mm wide, perimeter profile is 19/24 mm. The substructure is white, smilar to RAL 9010. The substructure provides appropriate reinforcements for the installation of recessed lighting. The sound insulation of the ceiling is Dn,c,w = 34 dB according to EN 20140-9. The panels are resistant to the relative air humidity of up to 95%. The panels are in the class of non-combustible construction materials A2-s1,d0 in accordance with SRPS EN 13501-1. All ceilings shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and technical details of the Design. The suspended ceiling height is defined by the Design. The ceiling is installed upon the completion of all installations. In the area of the ventilation duct that remains, it is planned to perform ventilation duct cladding with gypsum KNAUF boards on the appropriate substructure and with appropriate mineral wool thermal insulation.
Serbian to English: The impact of secular western education on Albanians in primary schools in southern Serbia General field: Science Detailed field: Education / Pedagogy
Translation - English Primary education of Albanian children in
southern Serbia is conducted in accordance with
the National Curriculum implemented in all primary
schools in Serbia. The only exception to this is
in the study of history, for which 20% of the course
content may come from areas outside the National
Curriculum. It is not unrealistic to assume that
in practice the rate of change in content is much
higher than 20%. Albanian primary school students
learn Albanian as their mother tongue and
Serbian as a second language, but they use textbooks
and educational material published by the
Institute for Textbooks and Teaching Resources in
Belgrade. These are translated from Serbian into
Albanian. It is worth noting that problems related
to the reliability of the translation of technical
terms specific to some areas are not uncommon.
Serbian to English: Intelligent control systems of microclimate parameters in shelters General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Source text - Serbian Savremeni objekti imaju velike sličnosti sa mašinama jer poseduju čitav niz mehaničkih, električnih, elektronskih, računarskih i komunikacionih postrojenja. Kako građevinski objekti postaju sve više sofisticirani sadrže i sve veći broj senzora efektora, računarski upravljivih uređaja i mreža.
Translation - English Modern facilities are similar to machines because they have a range of mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer and communication systems. As buildings are becoming more and more sophisticated, they include an increasing number of sensor-effectors, computer controlled devices and networks. From the perspective of information science, „an intelligent building is one that utilises computer technology to autonomously govern and adapt the building environment so as to optimise user comfort, energy-consumption, safety and work efficiency“. In intelligent buildings, computers and artificial intelligence techniques are used to orchestrate the operations neccessary for the functioning of the system (air-conditioning, heating, cooling, lighting, ...) with the aim of providing levels of control expected from human intelligence (thinking, learning, adaptation). Machines such as robots are capable of this thanks to the incorporation of artificial intelligence based on behaviour. There is a sufficient number of similarities between machines (mobile robots, in particular) and buildings that can justify the application of such techniques to building control systems, which enables their intelligent behaviour.
