Source text - French Il fauche un autre client du groupe pendant sa glissade. Ce dernier réussit à s'arrêter alors que Mr Edelhait continue sa glissade. Les deux seront indemnes (Cf pièce n'43, 33 et scellé no. 4).
Après l’accident, plusieurs clients estiment qu'ils n'avaient pas Ie niveau requis pour effectuer cette descente.
Les deux clients qui nous ont fait parvenir un courrier disent avoir quitté Ie groupe d'eux même car ils estimaient que la progressivité dans la difficulté des itinéraires était trop rapide (Cf pièce n' 38:39:40).
Le niveau des clients
Le niveau estimé par Mr Drigo est niveau 3.
Le niveau que nous estimons au vu de la vidéo est fin de niveau 2, début de niveau 3 d'après les critères ESF.
Bien qu'homogène, il semble malgré tout qu'au moins Mr Edelhait et Mr Choi aient un niveau inférieur. Ils arrivent longtemps après les autres lors de la descente de Ia première partie du couloir (Cf pièce n·43).
Le niveau des clients est trop faible pour emmener ceux-ci sereinement dans un itinéraire technique avec des conditions de neige difficiles à skier.
Le couloir des Rossets, itinéraire hors-piste très régulièrement fréquenté car il est abordable et facile d'accès par les remontées mécaniques. Cet itinéraire a un dénivelé de 300 mètres et une inclinaison d'au minimum 35 degrés, avec quelques passages pouvant atteindre 40 degrés. Pas considéré comme extrême, il reste néanmoins réservé à des skieurs expérimentés.
Le jour des faits, l’itinéraire était en neige dure mais « accrochante » par les carres des skis (Cf pièce n·42). La visibilité était moyenne car un voile nuageux cachait Ie soleil. La fréquentation du couloir a créé des bosses peu profondes sur l‘ensemble de l’itinéraire emprunté. De plus, des bourrelets creusés à I’entrée de la traversée rendent accès plus difficile à un skieur moyen.
L’itinéraire a été skié par un autre groupe encadré par un moniteur juste avant Ie passage du groupe de Mr Drigo.

After the accident, several customers felt that they did not have the required level to perform this descent.
The two customers who sent us a letter say that they left the group on their own because they felt that the progressiveness in the difficulty of the routes was too fast (Acc. evidence 38:39:40).
CUSTOMER LEVEL
The level estimated by Mr Drigo is level 3.The level that we estimate from the video is end of level 2, start of level 3 according to ESF criteria.
Although homogeneous, it still seems that Mr Edelhait and Mr Choi have a lower level at least. They arrive long after the others when they descend the first part of the corridor (Acc. evidence no. 43).
The customers' level is too low to take them to ski confidently on a technical route with difficult snow conditions.
The Rossets corridor, an off-piste route very regularly used because it is affordable and easy to access by ski lifts. This route has a vertical drop of 300 meters and a slope of at least 35 degrees, with some passages up to 40 degrees. Not considered extreme, it is nevertheless reserved for experienced skiers.
On the day of the incident, the route was in hard snow but "hooked" by the edges of the skis (Acc. evidence no. 42). Visibility was moderate because a cloudy veil hid the sun. Traffic on the corridor created shallow bumps along the entire taken route. In addition, dug bulges at the entrance to the crossing make it more difficult to access for an average skier.
The route was skied by another group supervised by an instructor just before the passage of Mr Drigo's group.
