I am an experienced Finnish Translator and I have been working for over 10 years with time sensitive and large assignments delivering ready to publish translations. I have strong core language and communication skills. I make always sure that I have understood customer’s needs and instructions.

I am a native Finnish speaker with an excellent understanding and control of the language. I translate 3000+ words per day, and work evenings and weekends if an urgent turnaround is needed.

I have translated hundreds of thousands of words annually for the past seven years and worked extensively for many multinational companies through different agencies and with my Finnish colleagues (please ask for additional information and examples). I specialize in automotive, software, website localization, machinery and IT related materials.

I use all major CAT tools: Trados Studio, MemoQ, SDLX, Wordfast Pro 6.0, Smartling, MemSource and Transit.

Prior to working as a freelance translator, I worked as an IT consult for almost 10 years and run web design company which specialized in translation and optimization of web content.
