Born in England of English parents, I spent my childhood in the Netherlands and was educated in Dutch, only returning to England to go to University, where I studied French and Italian. Work experience includes large not-for-profit organisations including examinations boards and national dance council. I decided to improve my translating capabilities by taking the IoL exams from Dutch and French into English. I deal with business/legal texts (lease contracts, court cases) and also with texts relating to education and marketing.
