Over 36 years of multinational corporate experience as Executive-level Assistant, I have worked directly with CEOs and Board Members under high-pressure, deadline-driven environments. With a broad range of industry experience, from legal services, manufacturing and shipping to pharmaceuticals, I have translated public and highly confidential documents. My broad experience includes corporate-level translations of medical, financial, and legal agreements and statements. In addition, I have edited and proofed documents for final publication. My extensive experience includes working for the United Nations as a simulataneous translator/interpeter, and specializing in medical conferences at World Health Organization where I dealt directly with medical professionals and assisted in their simultaneous translator and interpreter needs while traveled across the country. I have a passion for languages and linguistics, and my training at London University and Goethe Institute provided additional traning to hone my existing skills. I consider myself a native speaker of English and Turkish, and I have an understanding of French and German. I am an avid traveler, and traveled extensively across the US, Europe and the Middle East. I have lived in countries, including Lebanon, Austria, and the United States for most of my life. I have outstanding cross-cultural understanding and appreciation, which help me in the field of translation. I am an avid reader and writer who enjoys multiple genres.
