On several occasions I have been transcribing from tapes/CDs/Videos. For the past 20 years I have translated work of almost every kind especially technical manuals for high profile clients in the automotive engineering industry, fridge and freezers, washing machines, microwave ovens, digital mailing systems and televisions, envelope insertion systems, car and global navigation systems, mobile and in-car telephones, power tools, photo copying machines, laundry systems for hospitals, sewing machines, generators, on-line surveys and questionnaires, computer games, web-localisation, software manuals, IT applications, cookery books and children’s story books. I am also part of a 5-year IND project that involves translation of documents for the police/foreign authorities/solicitors to/from Danish prisoners in Europe (both into and from Danish). I have worked with a wide range of software including DTP and localisation of artwork.

I have been trained as a Danish teacher at Berlitz School of Languages in Birmingham. I have successfully been teaching several pupils to write and speak the Danish language, the most recent was a helicopter pilot, for a period of approx. 7 months. I am registered nationwide with the Police and have on several occasions been involved with interpreting in prisons, court etc. For several years I have been translating the monthly newsletter for a well-known food manufacturer regarding news of financial and business affairs, staff development etc.
