Bio
I am a freelance technical translator for the German/English language combination. My areas of expertise are electrical and electronical engineering, computer hardware and software, telecommunications and internet technologies, building automation and renewable energies. I have a background as an electronics engineer with many years experience in hardware and software development, networking and IT in general. I've worked for several large US companies as a team / project leader in an international, multicultural environment, with English as the working language. I own a freelance translation agency called engtrans.de. I took the IoLET Diploma in Translation exam in January 2012.
My interests - besides engineering, IT and networking in general - are in the area of renewable energies and environment protection technologies.
