Source text - English The tests were carried out in accordance with the conditions prescribed by the E. POWER document, "Gas Turbine V94.3! Verification of guaranteed performance", no. R12CLO1256 rev. 03 of 12.2.02 and also in accordance with the following standards:

The electric power was measured by PGI/ASP/PER-FI. The generated power values in particular were corrected for ratio and angle errors of the TA and TV.
The remaining measurements were made by PGI/ASP/PTI-TO/SB. In particular, the natural gas delivery was measured with a device of the diaphragm type with measuring orifice calibrated by ADVANTICA TECHNOLOGIES.
The temperature of the exhaust gases at the gas turbine exhaust was calculated using the grid provided by CESI at the GVR inlet (25 thermocouples). This value differs from that determined with the grid provided by Ansaldo on the gas turbine exhaust (6 thermocouples) by less than 0.4°C.
The natural gas analyses made at the Experimental Fuel Station were used for the processing operations.
The values determined by the test were corrected with the curves contained in E. POWER document R12CL10043 rev. 01 and R12CL.00039 rev. 00 and in accordance with the methodology indicated in the test specification.
The instruments used were first calibrated at SIT calibration centres and the corresponding documentation is available at PGI/ASP.
A data acquisition system which receives the signals of the transducers installed at the plant was used to measure the thermodynamic and electric parameters. The automatic system also processes the data acquired by converting the various signals into engineering units and making the necessary corrections based on the calibration curves obtained for each individual transducer and checks the stability of the variables acquired as a function of time.

Taking into use
If the base machine is other than a new forest machine, check the cleanliness of the hydraulic system.
Check that there is enough hydraulic oil in the system.
Make sure that there are no leaks on the crane.
Check the tightness of the bolt joints and the fastenings of the hydraulic connections.
Ensure that the hoses can move freely.
Remove any air from the hydraulic cylinders by driving each cylinder to its limit 3 to 4 times.
Usage
Drive the first cylinder movements with caution, without any load, so that the oil gets warm and that a sound lubricant film will be formed on the crane joints.
Do not carry out the actual lift at maximum reach, but pull the load closer, to the actual lifting site.
If you have to work on an inclined terrain, monitor the stationary stability of the machine.
Always handle a maximum load cautiously.
Take special caution at the limit positions of the booms.
Never press down with the boom and pull the telescopic extensions at the same time.
Attempt to move as close as possible to the tree being felled.
Never operate the crane movements against their limits at maximum speed.
Never extend the boom while the harvester head is resting on the ground. Lift the harvester head off the ground before extending the boom.
