The American Cancer Society recommends these cancer screening guidelines for most adults. Screening tests are used to find cancer before a person has any symptoms.

Breast cancer
• Women ages 40 to 44 should have the choice to start annual breast cancer screening with mammograms (x-rays of the breast) if they wish to do so.
• Women age 45 to 54 should get mammograms every year.
• Women 55 and older should switch to mammograms every 2 years, or can continue yearly screening.
• Screening should continue as long as a woman is in good health and is expected to live 10 more years or longer.
• All women should be familiar with the known benefits, limitations, and potential harms linked to breast cancer screening. They also should know how their breasts normally look and feel and report any breast changes to a health care provider right away.
Some women – because of their family history, a genetic tendency, or certain other factors – should be screened with MRIs along with mammograms. (The number of women who fall into this category is very small.) Talk with a health care provider about your risk for breast cancer and the best screening plan for you.
Colon and rectal cancer and polyps
Starting at age 50, both men and women should follow one of these testing plans:
Tests that find polyps and cancer
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy every 5 years*, or
• Colonoscopy every 10 years, or
• Double-contrast barium enema every 5 years*, or
• CT colonography (virtual colonoscopy) every 5 years*
Tests that mostly find cancer
• Yearly guaiac-based fecal occult blood test (gFOBT)**, or
• Yearly fecal immunochemical test (FIT)**, or
• Stool DNA test (sDNA) every 3 years*
* If the test is positive, a colonoscopy should be done.
** The multiple stool take-home test should be used. One test done in the office is not enough. A colonoscopy should be done if the test is positive.
The tests that can find both early cancer and polyps should be your first choice if these tests are available and you’re willing to have one of them. Talk to a health care provider about which test is best for you.
If you are at high risk of colon cancer based on family history or other factors, you may need to be screened using a different schedule. Talk with a health care provider about your history and the testing plan that’s best for you.
Cervical cancer
• Cervical cancer testing should start at age 21. Women under age 21 should not be tested.
• Women between the ages of 21 and 29 should have a Pap test done every 3 years. HPV testing should not be used in this age group unless it’s needed after an abnormal Pap test result.
• Women between the ages of 30 and 65 should have a Pap test plus an HPV test (called “co-testing”) done every 5 years. This is the preferred approach, but it’s OK to have a Pap test alone every 3 years.
• Women over age 65 who have had regular cervical cancer testing in the past 10 years with normal results should not be tested for cervical cancer. Once testing is stopped, it should not be started again. Women with a history of a serious cervical pre-cancer should continue to be tested for at least 20 years after that diagnosis, even if testing goes past age 65.
• A woman who has had her uterus and cervix removed (a total hysterectomy) for reasons not related to cervical cancer and who has no history of cervical cancer or serious pre-cancer should not be tested.
• All women who have been vaccinated against HPV should still follow the screening recommendations for their age groups.
Some women – because of their health history (HIV infection, organ transplant, DES exposure, etc.) – may need a different screening schedule for cervical cancer. Talk to a health care provider about your history.
Endometrial (uterine) cancer
The American Cancer Society recommends that at the time of menopause, all women should be told about the risks and symptoms of endometrial cancer. Women should report any unexpected vaginal bleeding or spotting to their doctors.
Some women – because of their history – may need to consider having a yearly endometrial biopsy. Please talk with a health care provider about your history.
Lung cancer
The American Cancer Society does not recommend tests to check for lung cancer in people who are at average risk. But, we do have screening guidelines for those who are at high risk of lung cancer due to cigarette smoking. Screening might be right for you if you are all of the following:
• 55 to 74 years of age
• In good health
• Have at least a 30 pack-year smoking history AND are either still smoking or have quit within the last 15 years (A pack-year is the number of cigarette packs smoked each day multiplied by the number of years a person has smoked. Someone who smoked a pack of cigarettes per day for 30 years has a 30 pack-year smoking history, as does someone who smoked 2 packs a day for 15 years.)
Screening is done with an annual low-dose CT scan (LDCT) of the chest. If you fit the list above, talk to a health care provider if you want to start screening.
Prostate cancer
The American Cancer Society recommends that men make an informed decision with a health care provider about whether to be tested for prostate cancer. Research has not yet proven that the potential benefits of testing outweigh the harms of testing and treatment. We believe that men should not be tested without first learning about what we know and don’t know about the risks and possible benefits of testing and treatment.
Starting at age 50, men should talk to a health care provider about the pros and cons of testing so they can decide if testing is the right choice for them.
If you are African American or have a father or brother who had prostate cancer before age 65, you should have this talk with a health care provider starting at age 45.
If you decide to be tested, you should get a PSA blood test with or without a rectal exam. How often you’re tested will depend on your PSA level.
Cancer-related check-ups
For people aged 20 or older who get periodic health exams, a cancer-related check-up should include health counseling and, depending on a person’s age and gender, exams for cancers of the thyroid, oral cavity, skin, lymph nodes, testes, and ovaries, as well as for some other diseases besides cancer.
Take control of your health, and help reduce your cancer risk.
• Stay away from all forms of tobacco.
• Get to and stay at a healthy weight.
• Get moving with regular physical activity.
• Eat healthy with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
• Limit how much alcohol you drink (if you drink at all).
• Protect your skin.
• Know yourself, your family history, and your risks.
• Get regular check-ups and cancer screening tests.

سرطان الثدي
• بالنسبة للمرأة في الفئة العمرية ما بين 40 إلى 44 يجب أن يكون لها الخيار في بدء اجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكرعن سرطان الثدي و ذلك باجراء فحص للثدي بالأشعة (ماموغرام) سنويا إن ارادت ذلك.
• وللمرأة في الفئة العمرية ما بين 45 إلى 54 يجب عليها اجراء عملية الماموغرام (فحص الثدي بالأشعة) كل عام.
• المرأة في الفئة العمرية 55 و أكبر عليهن اجراء ماموغرام (فحص الثدي بالأشعة) كل سنتين بدلا من كل سنة و يمكن أيضا الاستمرار في اجراء الفحص سنويا.
• و يجب الاستمرار في اجراء فحض الماموغرام مادامت المرأة بصحة جيدة و يتوقع أن تعيش لمدة 10 سنوات أو أكثر.
• على كل النساء إن تكن على علم بالفوائد و مدى القصور و الاضرار المحتملة التي قد تنتج عن فحوصات الكشف المبكر لسرطان الثدي. و يجب عليها أيضا أن تكن على معرفة بشكل و احساس ثدييها أي كما تبدو عادة و بأن تخبر موفر الخدمات الصحية عن أي تغيير يطرأ عليها باسرع وقت ممكن.
و بالنسبة لبعض النساء - و اللاتي قد تكون لديهن قابلية وراثية للاصابة بسرطان الثدي بسبب تاريخ عائلاتهن الطبية أو قد توجد بعض العوامل الأخرى - فيجب اجراء فحوصات الرنين المغناطيسي (MRI) بالاضافة إلى فحص الماموغرام. (و الجدير بالذكر إن عدد النساء في هذه الفئة صغير جدا) الرجاء التحدث إلى موفر الخدمات الصحية لمناقشة مدى احتمال تعرضك للاصابة بداء سرطان الثدي و أفضل خطة للكشف المبكر تناسبكِ.
سرطان القولون و سرطان المستقيم و السلائل ( الزوائد اللحمية)
عندما يصل عمر الشخص إلى الـ 50 سنة، سواء كان ذكر أو أنثى فإن عليه أن يتبع احدى الخطط التقييمة التالية:
الاختبارات الخاصة بالعثور على السلائل (الزوائد اللحمية) و السرطان:
• اجراء عملية التنظير المرن للمستقيم السيني (sigmoidoscopy) و يتم اجراءه كل 5 سنوات*، أو
• اجراء تنظير القولون كل 10 سنوات، أو
• فحص حقنة الباريوم مزدوجة التباين:تجرى كل 5 سنوات*، أو
• التصوير باستخدام الماسح الضوئي (CT scan) للقولون (التنظير الافتراضي للقولون): كل 5 سنوات
الاختبارات التي تجد السرطان في أغلب الأحيان
• اجراء فحص غوياكا لتحري الدم المخفي في البراز (gFOBT)**سنويا، أو
• اجراء فحص الكيمياء المناعية في البراز (FIT)** سنويا، أو
• اجراء تحليل الحامض النووي (sDNA) في البراز كل 3 سنوات*
* في حال إن نتيجة الفحص ايجابية، فإنه يجب اجراء عملية تنظير للقولون.
** يجب استخدام الاختبار الذي يعتمد على جمع عدة عينات للبراز في المنزل من قبل المريض للفحص. حيث أن اجراء اختبار واحد في مكتب الطبيب لا يكفي. و يجب اجراء عملية تنظير للقولون في حال كانت النتائج ايجابية.
و يجب أن تكون الاختبارات التي يمكن أن تعثر على السرطان المبكر و السلائل (الزوائد اللحمية) هي الخيار الأول في حال توفر هذه الاختبارات و أن الشخص يريد اجراء احدى هذه الفحوصات. الرجاء التحدث إلى موفر للخدمات الصحية لتحديد أي من هذه الفحوصات مناسبة لك.
و إن كُنتَ من الفئة التي لها احتمال أكبر بالاصابة بسرطان القولون و ذلك بالاعتماد على التاريخ الطبي للعائلة و بعض العوامل الأخرى، فقد تحتاج إلى اجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكر باتباع جدول زمني يختلف عن الجدول المذكور أعلاه. الرجاء التحدث إلى موفر الخدمات الصحية لمناقشة تاريخ العائلة الطبي و خطة الفحوصات المناسبة لحالتك.
سرطان عنق الرحم
• يجب أن تبدأ فحوصات الكشف المبكر في عمر الـ 21. و يجب عدم اجراء هذه الفحوصات على المرأة التي يقل عمرها عن 21 سنة.
• للنساء بين أعمار 21 إلى 29 يجب اجراء مسح عنق الرحم (Pap Smear) كل 3 سنوات. و يجب عدم اجراء اختبار فيروس الورم الحليمي البشري (HPV) لهذه الفئة العمرية إلا كمتابعة علاجية إن أظهر اختبار مسح عنق الرحم نتائج غير طبيعية.
• بالنسبة للنساء في الفئة العمرية بين 30 إلى 65 فإنه يجب اجراء اختبار مسح عنق الرحم (Pap Smear) بالاضافة إلى اختبار فيروس الورم الحليمي (HPV) (و يسمى ذلك اختبار- متلازم) و يتم اجراءه كل 5 سنوات. هذا هو العلاج المفضل، و لكن يمكن ايضا اجراء اختبار مسح عنق الرحم فقط كل 3 سنوات.
• و للنساء في الفئة العمرية فوق عمر الـ 65 سنة و التي قد تم فحصهن لداء سرطان عنق الرحم بصورة منتظمة للسنوات الـ 10 الماضية و كانت النتائج طبيعية فيجب عدم فحصهن لمرض سرطان عنق الرحم. و بعد أن يتم ايقاف اجراء الفحوصات، يجب عدم اخضاع المرأة لهذه الفحوصات مرة أخرى. و بالنسبة للمرأة التي أظهرت فحوصاتها تواجد حاد لخلايا محتملة التسرطن فإنه يجب أن تستمر في اجراء الفحوصات لمدة 20 سنة على الأقل بعد التشخيص، حتى و لو استمرت الفحوصات لما بعد سن الـ 65.
• بالنسبة للمرأة التي قد خضعت لعملية استئصال الرحم و منطقة عنق الرحم (استئصال كامل للرحم) لاسباب لا علاقة لها بسرطان عنق الرحم و التي لم يتم تشخيصها بسرطان عنق الرحم أو أي تشخيص حالة تواجد خلايا محتملة التسرطن فيجب أن لا يتم فحصهن.
• و بالنسبة لكل النساء اللاتي لم يتم تلقيحهن ضد فيروس الورم الحليمي البشري فإنه يجب عليهم اتباع التوصيات الخاصة بفحوصات الكشف المبكر المناسبة لفئتهم العمرية.
و بالنسبة لبعض النساء- بسبب تاريخهم الطبي (الاصابة بفيروس الورم الحليمي البشري أو خضعت لعملية زراعة احدى الاعضاء أوالتعرض لمادة الـ DES، ألخ)- فقد يلزم اتباع جدول لاجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكر لسرطان عنق الرحم يختلف عن الجدول المذكورأعلاه. الرجاء التحدث إلى موفر للخدمات الصحية بخصوص تاريخكِ الطبي.
سرطان الرحم
توصي الجمعية الأمريكية للسرطان بأنه عند وصول المرأة إلى سن اليأس، فإنه يجب اخبار كل امرأة عن مخاطر و أعراض سرطان الرحم. و يجب على المرأة أن تبلّغ الطبيب عن أي نزيف مهبلي أو تبقيع (طمث خفيف) قد تتعرض له.
بالنسبة لبعض النساء - و بسبب تاريخهن الطبي- فيجب أن تأخذ في عين الاعتبار اجراء خزعة (biopsy) لبطانة الرحم سنوياً. الرجاء التحدث إلى موفر للخدمات الصحية بخصوص تاريخك الطبي.
سرطان الرئة
لا توصي الجمعية الأمريكية للسرطان اجراء أي فحوصات للكشف المبكرعن سرطان الرئة في الفئات التي يعتبر معدل احتمال اصابتهم بسرطان الرئة متوسطة. و لكن توجد لدى الجمعية ارشادات خاصة بفئة الأشخاص الذي يعتبر معدل احتمال اصابتهم بسرطان الرئة عالية بسبب تدخين السجائر. و اجراء الفحوصات للكشف المبكر عن سرطان الرئة قد تكون مناسبة لك إن توفرت كل العوامل التالية:
• تنتمي للفئة العمرية ما بين 55 و 74 سنة
• في صحة جيدة
• إن تدخن على الأقل 30 علبة سجائر في السنة:فإما أنك لا تزال تدخّن أو أنك قد توقفت عن التدخين في فترة الـ15 سنة الماضية (علبة في السنة:يعني عدد علب السجائر التي تم تدخينها مضروبة بعدد سنوات التدخين) وبالنسبة لشخص دَخّنَ علبة سجائر في اليوم لمدة 30 سنة فإن تاريخه الطبي يُوصف بـ 30 علبة في السنة، و ينطبق نفس الشئ على شخص دخن 2 علبة سجائر في اليوم على مدى 15 سنة.)
و يتم اجراء فحص الكشف المبكر من خلال اجراء فحص باشعة مقطعية منخفضة الاشعاع (LDCT) لمنطقة الصدر. إن كانت مواصفاتك كالمذكورة أعلاه فالرجاء التحدث مع موفر الخدمات الصحية إن أردت أن تبادر بفحوصات الكشف المبكر.
سرطان البروستات
توصي الجمعية الأمريكية للسرطان بان يقوم الرجال بأخذ قرار بعد الحصول على المعلومات الكافية وبدعم من موفر الرعاية الصحية بأن يجري فحوصات الكشف المبكر عن سرطان البروستات. و لم تثبت الأبحاث العلمية بعد أن المكاسب المحتملة لاجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكر تفوق اضرار أجراء هذه الفحوصات و العلاج. ولكننا نعتقد بأنه يجب عدم اجراء الفحوصات للرجال قبل أن يتم ابلاغهم عما نعلمه و لا نعلمه بخصوص المخاطر و الفوائد المحتملة عند اجراء الفحوصات و العلاج.
عند الوصول إلى عمر الـ 50 يجب على الرجال التحدث إلى موفر الخدمات الصحية عن فوائد و مخاطر اجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكر لكي يقوم الرجل باختيار إن كان اجراء هذه الفحوصات مناسبة له.
إن كنت رجل أمريكي من أصول أفريقية أو أصيب والدك أو أحد أخوتك بمرض سرطان البرستات قبل عمر الـ65، فيجب عليك أن تتحدث عن هذا الموضوع مع موفر الخدمات الصحية عندما يصل عمرك إلى الـ 45.
إن قررت أن تقوم باجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكر، فيجب عليك أن تجري تحليل الدم الخاص بالـ PSA و قد يرافق ذلك فحص للمستقيم أو لا. و يعتمد عدد مرات اجراء الفحوصات على معدل الـ PSA لديك.
الفحوصات الخاصة بمكافحة السرطان
لأي شخص في الفئة العمرية من الـ20 أو أكبر و الذي يخضع لكشف طبي دوري، يجب أن يتضمن الكشف الخاص بمكافحة السرطان استشارة طبية و بحسب عمر الشخص و جنسه: فإنه يجب أيضا اجراء فحص مبكر لسرطان كل من للتالي: الغدة الدرقية و الفم و الجلد و الغدد الليمفاوية و الخصيتين و المبايض، بالاضافة إلى بعض الأمراض الأخرى غير السرطان.
تولى مسؤولية صحتك، و ساعد في خفض احتمال اصابتك بالسرطان
• ابتعد عن استخدام أي من أنواع التبغ
• خفِّض وزنك إلى وزن صحي ثم حافظ على ذلك الوزن
• قم بممارسة الرياضة بشكل دوري و اشترك في النشاطات البدنية
• تناول الغذاء الصحي بما في ذلك الكثير من الخضروات و الفواكه
• قلل كمية الكحول التي تتناولها (إن كنت تشرب الكحول اصلا)
• قم بحماية الجلد
• أعرف نفسك و تاريخ عائلتك (الطبي) و احتمالات الاصابة
• قم بالفحوصات الدورية و اجراء فحوصات الكشف المبكر الخاصة بالسرطان

توضع شارة المطابقة على المنتَج من قبل المصنِّع أو ممثله الرسمي المقيم بدول الخليج العربية؛
يجب وضع الشارة على المنتَج، أو على وثيقته الفنية التعريفية، بصفة واضحة تسهل معها قراءتها، و لا يمكن إزاحتها.
و حيثما لا يمكن ذلك بالنظر إلى نوع المنتَج فيجب وضع الشارة على العبوة إذا وُجدت أو على الوثائق الأخرى المصاحبة 42 للمنتَج كلما نصت اللوائح الفنية بوجوبها؛
كلما تدخلت جهة مقبولة لتقويم المطابقة في مرحلة مراقبة الإنتاج بحكم اللوائح المعنية وجب وضع رقمها التعريفي مصاحبا 44 لشارة المطابقة على المنتَج. و يقوم المصنِّع أو ممثله الرسمي بوضع هذا الرقم التعريفي تحت مسؤولية الجهة المقبولة.
Translation - Arabic Affixing the Conformity Mark
The conformity mark is to be affixed to the product by the manufacturer or the
manufacturer’s official representative residing in the Arabian Gulf countries.
The conformity mark must be affixed on the product, or on its technical
identification documents* where it is clear, easy to read and cannot be
removed.
If it is not possible due to the type of product, the conformity mark must be
affixed to the packaging, if the product has packaging, or on the other
documents that accompany the product as stipulated in the technical
regulations.
Whenever a recognized authority becomes involved in assessing a conformity
issue during the production monitoring stage, as stipulated in the related
regulations, this party’s identification number must be affixed to the product in
conjunction with the conformity mark. The manufacturer or his official
representative will affix the identification number of the recognized authority
to the product, where the recognized authority will incur liability.
