Background: I was born in 1971 and took up translation in 1997. I am a very experienced translator.

I have a varied background: Legal: business contracts, real estate purchase/sell agreements, State issued certificates. Business: board of directors' meetings and protocols, specs of tenders. Film and TV movies (subtitles). Books. Alternative health: Simultaneous translation. Art projects. Software translation.
Personal Motivation:
Im very excited to be a translator and i love my job!
every new document is an adventure: its expands my world knowledge, i get involved in projects i would otherwise know much less of, if anything at all, i learn new concepts and about how things are done in the world, i help people have their needs for communication and grasped meaning met. for me translation is so much fun! i feel lucky and blessed.

Computer Skills:
I have full command of MS-Office: Word, Excel and PP. also, as I developed as a translator, i have come to appreciate CAT tools, and i use Trados Studio 2015 and i have learned to rely on it for its advantages. In addition i have refined my skills and provide post-editing services for MT (MTPE). Although at first i was skeptic about the quality of such translation i have seen that for certain texts, MT and good post editing can give a brilliant result in no time at all, i love that!
of course i also know how to use search engines for researching topics, concepts and i also know to find the right professionals to help me with industry specific terminology.

Work Process:
I expect to read the document and then i submit my quote, if I feel i can handle well the subject matter. The submission date is usually what the client asks for.
