Thank you for visiting my profile.
I am a qualified translator, working from Russian to English. I have a Masters degree in Russian Translation from the University of Birmingham UK, and a combination of professional and voluntary translation experience. I have previously lived in Russia where I developed a good understanding of the intricacies and nuances of the language and culture, which enables me to deliver high quality, accurate translations. Having studied several other modern languages, such as French and German, I have a thorough understanding of linguistics and I am comfortable in handling complex Russian grammar.
I am a native English speaker, based in the UK and working in GMT timezone.
My employment background is in senior administration, office management and research bid writing. I am therefore highly competent in prioritising tasks, working to strict deadlines and using my initiative when completing translation/proofreading work.
