1. Tell me about yourself?
I’m a freelance Arabic translator with 09 years of experience, I have been a full-time freelance translator with various translation agencies in Algeria, Canada, Europe and I have been contributing to hundreds of translation and localization projects with quality, accuracy, and punctuality.
2. What languages can you translate into and from? What services do you provide?
I translate from English and French and Italian into Arabic, my native language. I can offer a wide range of language services to suit all your business and marketing needs ranging from translation, proofreading, editing to software & website Localization, subtitling, DTP & brand names analysis.
3. Do you have a certain area of specialization or do you work on generic translation projects of many types?
Over the years, I have gained the competence and the experience to translate any text offered, but after 7 years of experience in the translation and the localization industry, I’m specialized in marketing & surveys, information technology, human resource development, healthcare, MSDS, websites, software localization with strong focus on financial documentation.

4. Do you use a computer-aided translation (CAT tools)?
I do, and for every translation project; and in this way, I became proficient in using different CAT tools such as Trados, SDLX, Word fast classic, Word fast Pro, Déjà Vu, Passolo, Alchemy Catalyst, among others.
5. What types of clients do you typically work with? Who are your clients?
My clients represent a number of industries including finance, media, human resources development, education, healthcare, marketing and Information Technology. I have been working with mid-cap and large-cap companies, international organizations, educational institutions and media agencies in Europe such as SDI MEDIA.
6. How fast can you complete a translation project?
My daily output is around 2000-2500 words per day in translating specialized texts, while my output in translating general texts is 3500-4500 words per day, sometimes more and sometimes less, it always depends on the subject and the linguistic quality of the source text. Anyway, I never miss a deadline; I have been well-known for my punctuality and commitment.
7. How much do you charge for a translation work?
My rates are affordable, however, they depend on various factors, such as urgency, the technicality of the text and the total volume.
