In 1984, Lynda Sharp Paine wrote in Business & Professional Ethics Journal that advertising is justified if it helps consumers make wise decisions in the marketplace, but she argued that young children don’t yet have the capacity to make wise decisions. In the 2000s, many studies concluded that childhood obesity was tied in part to ads for snacks, sodas and sugary cereals—most companies cut down on advertising sugary cereals, and later cut down on the sugar content of the products themselves. Born in Russia. I majored in the languages: English, German and Chinese, while I lived there. For the past 14 years I've lived in the USA. I studied marketing here and have a big interest for business field. I have a good experience with translation and interpreting English/Russian and Russian/English in economics, marketing, advertising, education, linguistics.
I have a strong interest for languages and cultures. I truly enjoy advancing myself in both languages, picking up new words and concepts everyday, getting to know people, their language and culture that are so closely connected.
