In my 20+ year freelancer career as a translator and proofreader, I have worked with all kinds of texts -- from technical literature to press releases, from romance to tourist guides and books on art, architecture and lifestyle.
I am used to managing very long projects within tight deadlines, and in view of the diversity of subjects I deal with, I am quite good at terminology research. Moreover, since I mostly work for publishing houses, I am used to meeting high standards as regards writing style in the target language (Italian).
