Hello everyone! My name is Lisa and I’m a translator.

Something about me: I graduated at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2015 in Korean language, culture and society. I then moved to Tokyo for three months, studying Japanese and after that I moved to London, where I currently live.

I translate from English, French and Korean to Italian and my fields are literary translation, specialized in fantasy, young adult, manga, and video games localisation. I’m also a literary scout and a nerd.

Yes, exactly, I love reading books and manga, I love Japanese culture, I love cosplay and watching anime and I’m a gamer (not one of the best, still… isn’t the important thing to have fun?)

My nerd-self is the reason why I also have a YouTube channel with a friend of mine where we talk about books and manga, Ran&Amelia’s Tube, and I’m co-founder of the Tarot We Wrote project: a podcast of short stories of which me and my colleagues are the authors and the storytellers. It’s amazing, check it out!

I’m also travel addicted, that’s why I’m trying so hard to be able to fully work remotely and have no limit of time for my travels! Help me out on this and share with me your projects!
