Bio
I am a native British English translator with over 13 years experience in legal texts, particularly those relating to government and international institutions. Examples of subject areas covered include the EU and related areas, the European Court of Justice, international law, air services, drugs trafficking,international development, fisheries, politics and immigration.

As a staff translator I have been involved in checking and commenting on translations of bilateral agreements in several fields to ensure accuracy and consistency with internationally accepted terminology, and for revising work done by more junior staff.

I have been working as a freelance since May 2003, covering the areas of work referred to above.

I am a PC-literate touch-typist and have an office equipped with a PC operating under Windows XP, with the full MS Office 2000 suite.
