Bio
I specialize in translating stories with historical reference, and have translated hundreds of stories and articles into English, especially stories about Taoism, Laotzu, and the Chinese dynasties. I have also translated many current event and newpaper articles.

In 2005 I studied in Beijing, specializing in business and marketing, including a course on conducting business in China. We visited a number of businesses, including joint ventures and wholly foreign owned. The classroom course centered on advanced business transactions, import-export and marketing situations. Diploma received July 15, 2005.

I first studied Chinese at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and spent two years in Taiwan with the United States Air Force Security Service. I also attended the University of Colorado (Chinese Language and Literature),and WorldLink Education (Chinese Language and Business), Beijing.
I stay current with news and happenings in Taiwan and Mainland, including entertainment.
I watch Chinese news on TV daily, from Mainland, Taiwan and San Francisco. I have done translations concerning import/export, sales, general business operations, marketing, insurance, history and product questionairres.
