Freelance translator,
over 10 years of experience in diverse fields, especially in legal, financial
and IT. A technology enthusiast who can quickly acquire skills to translate in
any program or platform. Translations in Trados using TM technology since 2017
to increase productivity. Quick to adapt and meet customer needs by finding
solutions to tight deadlines, preferred terms and desired impact on the target
market. My most challenging and rewarding jobs include coordinating the translation team in a large project under a tight schedule in 2018, and translating
and proof-reading the contents for grades 9 to 11, as part of the Pegui Virtual Platform for the Ministry
of Education. 

In my work as a
freelance translator at Angloservicios SAS and other agencies, I have
translated legal, financial, and IT documents for several organizations (e.g. UNDP,
Claro, Shell, Yamaha, etc.). Furthermore, I was a volunteer at Geilsland School in Scotland, working as a classroom assistant across the curriculum –
music, English, IT, painting, joinery, PE. I have also performed as a simultaneous
and consecutive interpreter in focus groups, business matchmakings,
conferences, and NGO meetings.
