Source text - Spanish Voy a escribir un libro que hable de las (poquísimas)
mujeres de mi vida. De mi primera novia,
me enseñó el amor y las puertas secretas
del cielo y del infierno; de Isabel, que se fue
al país de los sueños con el pequeño Nemo,
porque aquí lo pasaba fatal; de Margarita,
recordando unos jeans blancos y unos lunares
estratégicamente dispuestos; de Ginebra,
que le dejó a Lanzarote plantado por mi culpa
y fundó una familia respetable a mi costa;
de Susana, que sigue tan guapa como entonces;
de Macarena, un dulce que me amargó la vida
dos veranos enteros; de Carmen, que era bruja
y veía el futuro con ojos de muchacho;
de la red que guardaba los cabellos de Paula
cuando me enamoré de su melancolía;
de Arancha, de Paloma, de Marta y de Teresa;
de sus besos, que izaron la bandera del triunfo
sobre la negra muerte, y también de su helado
desdén, que recluyó tantas veces mi espíritu
en la triste mazmorra de la desesperanza.
Voy a escribir un libro que hable de las mujeres

over de vrouwen van mijn leven, ach, het waren er maar een paar.
Over mijn eerste vriendinnetje
die mij de liefde leerde
en geheime deuren naar hemel en hel ontsloot.
Over Isabel
die met de Kleine Nemo naar Dromenland vertrok
want hier hield zij het niet uit.

die ik alleen achterliet op Lanzarote
