Although I have only recently started working actively on Proz.com, I have been a professional translator and interpreter since 2004. After I had my B.A in Translation and Conference Interpretation, I worked in conferences for several international organizations such as OECD and British Council as interpreter and translated documents on a variety of fields. Later on, I specialized in cognitive science and the psychology of learning. I have a master's degree in language learning and I am about to receive my PhD in cognitive science (majoring in psycholinguiscits). I am a native speaker of Turkish and fluent in English and French.
