Bio

I've been an IT professional for 36 years and a freelance Project and Programme Manager for 26 years.
I've worked across many industry sectors including Finance, Health care, Local Government, Central Government, Defence, Emergency Services (Fire & Police), Manufacturing, and Corporate Outsourcing / Strategic Partnerships.


I currently focus mainly on mixed Infrastructure / Applications projects and data migration / transformation.

I'm a keen runner, former British Parachute Association Instructor, former NSRA rifle and pistol coach and former triathlete. I currently coach Freefly skydiving in English, Spanish and (occasionally) French and German.

I'm a freefall cameraman (video and stills) and enjoy photography on the ground as well as in the air although I don't do weddings any more.

I have a MA in Classical Studies, a BA(hons) in Modern Language Studies (English with Spanish, a BA(hons) in Humanities with German, A post-graduate certificate in Humanities, a post-graduate certificate in translation and am currently studying for a MA in translation studies.
