Hello everyone,
All of a sudden, Trados won't show when I open it. You can see what I can see if I hover over it on https://www.dropbox.com/s/b414pzduv8ls4dy/trados.jpg.
Nothing happens when I click on it. I tried closing and reopening, and restarting my laptop, but noting did the trick. I'm using SDL Trados 2015 with Windows 8.1 and have never had problems ... See more Hello everyone,

I've never encountered such problem before.
Did you wait long enough for the computer to process? TRADOS is a relatvely large application that requires good CPU and memory.
Was there any software running that conflicts with TRADOS when you tried to open it?
It rarely happens. I think most likely it's the computer hardware problem.

By any chance, did you use a second monitor recently? If yes, is it possible that you moved the Trados window off the first (primary) monitor screen onto the second? If you disconnected the secondary monitor Trados may still open on that monitor, only that it isn't there, so it is sort of outside of your current screen.

Once I had a similar issue with a HDTV and virtual desktops)
As for your case--in general:
1) Does Task Manager actually list Trados?
2) What PC> Manage> Events> Applications/System say? Any relevant (mind the run-time) errs?
3) What had changed since the last time it was ok?

I'm *not sure if this is what you mean but something similar often happens to me. I open task manager and right click on the open part of Trados and click either Bring to Front or Maximize.
