I don’t expect any investment this year, but my printer has been doing a grinding noise when copying, so…

I've already spent quite a bit this year Apr 1, 2019

I already got Trados 2019, I got SDL certified, I invested in a domain and hosting for a website, I upgraded my laptop with more RAM and an SSD so everything would run more smoothly, and I am attending a course on CAT tools and translation memories at university. I will also renew my ProZ membership when the time comes.

For me this is all very much work-related.

$500 to $1000 Apr 1, 2019

I bought a new computer last September. It needs some software, a better hub, etc. I also bought a small Microsoft Surface laptop last year that still needs some bells and whistles.

Although I have done a lot of Italian course work at Oberlin College and through ICON, I decided that I want and should get a degree in that language, since anymore, I receive more requests to translate from it than any of my other source languages. That's why I have indicated that my expenses related to my translation business will "only" be in the 2 to 4 grand region.

Most important investments? Apr 2, 2019

A combination of all of these things (with the exception of the website, in my case. Never had one and have no intention of getting one, at least for the time being)

Nothing (extra) Apr 3, 2019

I shall only pay my regular ProZ and MS Office renewals and nothing else. Unless I get some really good jobs and some extra money to buy my gamer super seat.
But I have high income tax to pay until December, I'm paying installments of a trip to Machu Picchu next year with the entire family, and we'll likely move to a larger apartment in June. So I got no surplus expected this year.
