When I started my career working in a group with several experienced colleagues, having some spare time between our projects, we often localized some decent sites for practicing, offering such a "turnkey" version to its owner. That jobbing monthly brought us about $1000 extra. Once we localized one quite big and known UA website, but the owner rejected the offer, referring to unspecified Q/A problems... Ok. However, some two weeks later we found out she did use our slightly retouched translation... It took us a month to resolve the copyright infringement issue, finally the owner said it was just a little misunderstanding and proposed a rather favorable co-op, yet the trick left a very bad taste, so we said goodbye and ceased offering pre-localization. Companies love to send push-emails and we hate to receive them. But you can be sure they hate to receive them as well. If the site does not have a page specifically for that purpose, it's a bad shot.
