Bio

With almost ten years in localization industry -performing translating, editing, proofreading and project management duties- Johanna has also experience as Translation Professor and Copywriter. She holds a B.A. in Applied Linguistics and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Universidad de Santiago de Chile. She also holds Business English and Terminology Certificates, among others.
From her experience as in-house and freelance translator & proofreader, with local agencies and multinational companies, she has a clear picture of required competencies for a successful career as a freelance translator.
Nowadays, she manage Jangulo.com, a translation agency specialized in Hispanic market. Jangulo works with leading LSPs and companies from around the world offering a wide-range of services, from translation to DTP and creative writing.
