Translation - English In the exploration of physical language the word is removed from the theatrical ritual, to examine how this brings out other forms.
So action and gesture as principal means of communication.
Then the word returns, but now as a Carthusian embroidery of the action, tracing in sketches and fragments the map of a sort of karst landscape, where worn, decayed figures and backgrounds are swallowed up and then suddenly reemerge as if for the first time.
In the background the choir. Sound elements, musical backdrop that rises to the role of puppeteer.
That sarcastically amplifies, resonates, accompanies, underlines with the power of one who sees but is not seen, hears but is not heard, like an implacable god playing with a destiny that does not belong to him.
The choir assume the symbolic values of earth, fertile humus from which everything is born only to return, welcoming bosom and luxuriant carpet of human metastasis, all encompassing and all renewing.
The stage is empty space, indelibly furrowed by events.
The characters influence the journey, living, undisputed, elements of enormous vehemence.
From time immemorial man has accepted neither sex nor death as cruel facts of nature.
Thanks to a considered strategy that repels and channels unknown and formidable forces, a state of equilibrium is achieved and maintained.
Death and sex were the weakest points in the outer wall, because there culture prolonged nature without any evident discontinuity.
So they were subjected to careful scrutiny.
L’abréviation de ma vie tells of a non place and a non time where control over these forces has been lost.
Instinct rules and is a premonition of tragedy.
The unconscious is revealed in all its multiplicity and, precisely because it is untamed, rages violently.
It sweeps away everything, leaving only the wind whistling down the halls of the empty soul.
The last face is the face with which death welcomes you.

la preziosità si fa in tre a First 2010
Casato Roma inaugura il nuovo anno arricchendo la sua pregiata collezione con tre splendenti creazioni: As I Am, Fleur du Desert e Vive La Vie che debuttano in grande stile nella prestigiosa cornice vicentina di First.
AS I AM

Refinement is threefold at First 2010
Casato Roma celebrates the New Year by enriching its precious collection with three brilliant creations: As I Am, Fleur du Desert and Vive La Vie debut in great style in the prestigious setting of First in Vicenza.
AS I AM
Pendants and rings in pink gold and brilliant white for a collection that is proud and elegant, just like the Casato woman. Finely worked sinuous curls of gold are the precious base upon which the initials are set. Made entirely of diamonds, they reveal a name, a person, a story, a life, simply inimitable.
As I Am: the Casato woman wears her uniqueness with charm.
FLEUR DU DESERT
Cabochon cut and an embedded form for an exotic and colourful line. Peridot, lemon and smoky quartz, amethyst and garnet, together with corals and turquoises unite with diamonds and rose gold for a collection of lines as perfect as the half-sphere design of semi-precious stones.
VIVE LA VIE
Splendid flowers blossom on a woman’s body, in the form of rings, pendants and earrings. Lustrous diamonds surround the peridot, the lemon and smoky quartz, the amethyst and the garnet. The cut stones reflect the light of the diamonds in a jubilation of energy and positivity.
Vive la Vie, ‘Long Live Life’: A cheerful collection, rich in energy, for wearing one’s own refinement with joy.
As I Am, Fleur du Desert and Vive la Vie, three different lines imagined for a timeless woman, the Casato woman: bold, seductive, romantic and always irresistible.

Y es que soy hija del sol y mi madre es la tierra.
Sus senos se secaron. Me amamantó la luna.
Y es que soy hija del sol y mi hermano es el aire.
Las estrellas me acunaron. Ahora ya no pienso
En ellas.
Madre quiero morir; yo sin ti no soy nada.
Maldita sociedad; me apartó de tu lado.
Como buen Calibán aprendí su lenguaje.
Ahora sé maldecir y maldigo mi suerte.
Sé que te maltraté. Sé que te he maltratado.
Translation - English Daughter of the Sun
And I am the daughter of the sun and my mother is the earth.
Her breasts have dried up. The moon nursed me.
And I am the daughter of the sun and my brother is the air.
The stars rocked me. Now I no longer think
of them.
Mother I want to die, without you I am nothing.
Cursed society; took me from your side.
Like a good Caliban I learned their language.
Now I know how to curse and I curse my fate.
I know I have abused you. I know I have mistreated you.
Now maybe it is too late and I feel trapped.
I search in you your forgiveness. This is my elegy.
And I am the daughter of the sun; I was raised amongst branches.
I swam in your waters, I soaked in your lap.
And then I lost myself in labyrinths of asphalt.
The artificial emptiness is worthless for me.
Now perhaps it is too late to return to my riverbed.
I hear the melodies of birds in the silence of
the night, but I do not see trees.
Tropical blood runs through my veins ... and I wonder:
What is a monkey doing at the North Pole?
I just want to die ... take me in your lap.
