I am very passionate about languages as they are an essential part of my everyday life and translating became a fascinating experience. I am always looking forward to improve my own professional skills and to share my efficiency and passion with my costumers. I consider myself an accurate and reliable translator who has a particular eye for details without compromising the deadlines.

I am a native portuguese (european) translator who lives in Germany since 2006. My degree on German and English Modern Literature and Linguistics with an emphasis on Translation Studies was successfully completed in 2005 and it was immediately followed by a postgraduate course on Specialized Translation in German.

I then moved to Germany where I worked as an International Language Assistant for a well-known IT-Company. For five years I assisted their international costumers in German, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

In 2008 I decided to go back to the University and completed in 2011 a Master Degree (M.A.) at the Universität Erfurt on Literature, Media and Film.

Since 2011 I am working on my PhD degree at the University of Göttingen in Germany on Spanish cinema and culture.

I have been working as a freelance translator since 2006 from German, English and Spanish to Portuguese (european). Main fields of expertise:
