Bio
The list of catalogues and guides translated since I became a professional translator in 2010 has become quite long so here is a list of some my clients: Skira Paris, Skira Milan, RMN (Réunion des Musées Nationaux), Salon de Montrouge, Cornette de Saint-Cyr Auction House, Custodia Foundation, L'Art en plus agency, and many galleries, as well as documents for museum scenography etc.
Here are some of the agencies worked for US: Ubiquis (audio) Erikson (MET guide, and many other US museum documents); GB: Global Voices (interpreting and translations).

Though it is said that no one is perfectly bilingual I do believe that I am.
I have virtually no accent in French and a light American accent in English.

From 1977 to 1988 I traveled and worked in the USA at various jobs including in a ceramics workshop where I started as an apprentice and became production manager after two years, in New York City where I started as a contract worker making jewelry and after two years replaced the production manager who was ready to retire.

Back in Paris in 1985 I started teaching English over the telephone with a company called Languacom. I found I enjoyed teaching, and thanks to my employers was directly in contact with high level European executives.

I left for Reunion Island where, hired by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry I began my career as language teacher training students in English for a broad variety of professional purposes. Upon returning to France in 1992 I realized I needed academic training if I wished to further my career and enrolled with the British Institute branch of the university of London in Paris and obtained the Diploma in French and English Translation after four years while working for AFT-IFTIM and CCI Paris. The latter requested and obtained from the French 'Education National' authorization for me to teach for their diplomas up to 'Licence' level.

Translation became a source of great pleasure:
However for the most part I had to translate business and trade documents and I wished to enter the cultural domains as I am an avid reader and was raised in a family with a passion for contemporary art.
In order to perfect my writing I have attended workshops on literary writing with Aleph over the past three years as I firmly believe in continuing education. And with WICE creative writing sessions.
Indeed my education has not followed a traditional path but it shows my tenacity, flexibility and commitment to perfecting my production.
