Source text - English The invention provides systems and methods for the generation of lymphocytes having a unique antigen specificity. In a preferred embodiment, the invention provides methods of virally infecting cells from bone marrow with one or more viral vectors that encode antigen-specific T cell receptors. The resulting lymphocytes, and in particular, T cells express the T cell receptor (TCR) that was introduced. The lymphocytes generated can be used for a variety of therapeutic purposes including the treatment of various cancers and the generation of a desired immune response to viruses and other pathogens. The resulting cells develop normally and respond to antigen both in vitro and in vivo. It is possible to modify the function of lymphocytes by using stem cells from different genetic backgrounds. Thus the system constitutes a powerful tool to generate desired lymphocyte populations both for research and therapy. Applications of this technology include treatments for infectious diseases, such as HIV/AIDS, cancer therapy, allergy, and autoimmune disease.

This even tint was indeed broken up by streaks of yellow sand-break in the lower lands, and by many tall trees of the pine family, out-topping the others--some singly, some in clumps; but the general coloring was uniform and sad. During the Bris Group International meeting held in Miami, Florida on May 8-9,
2000,
Pablo Echevarria, representing BRIS Group and its holding company abcd, met with Tom Pertel and Jeremy Hall, representing MS. There was discussion concerning the business goals of both companies, and FY'99 financial information for ABCD was provided to MS by Pablo Echevarria. This Letter of Agreement sets out
the intent of the parties to form a closer business relationship and the understanding between the parties with respect to the following matters:
1. A proposed $500,000 investment by MS for 12% of ABCD, to be paid $400,000 in cash and $100,000 in MS stock;
2. A proposed Services Agreement for the international development of internet medical chat services;
3. A proposed Services Agreement for the international development of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device monitoring programs and for clinical trials recruitment;
4. Other matters involving the BRIS Miami call center, the possible ABCD purchase of MMI International and other business development.
With respect to Item #1:
o Pablo Echevarria has indicated that ABCD is a French company in good standing with a capitalization of 7,000,000 French Francs. ABCD is the holding company that has ownership interest in all of the BRIS subsidiary companies and call centers around the world. In some BRIS subsidiaries ABCD has a majority ownership interest and in others a minority interest.
All of the BRIS subsidiaries belong to an Association whereby they cooperate on program development and the sharing of network resources.
Profit or loss representing the ABCD interest in each subsidiary is consolidated in ABCD accounts.
o MS will make a cash and stock investment of $500,000 in ABCD to create a closer bond between the parties and to support and promote the international development of travel medicine programs, medical internet chat programs, adverse reaction monitoring programs and clinical trial recruitment programs for the mutual benefit of both parties. ABCD is accepting the investment to fund operating deficits of several of its BRIS subsidiary companies and to modernize its technical and Internet infrastructure. ABCD also desires a U.S partner to further its development in the North America assistance market.
The parties agree that the investment by MS will be for a long-term minority position in the capitalization of ABCD. Likewise, ABCD plans to hold the MS shares it receives as a long-term investment.
