Source text - English Until Navara, the words pickup and driver satisfaction didn’t belong in the same sentence. All that has changed. With a new breed of two 2.5 litre diesel engines, Navara muscles to the front of its class for performance.
The second generation common rail turbodiesel uses a variable nozzle turbo and intercooler to produce an impressive171hp and a huge 403Nm torque. So not only does Navara outperform all its rivals, it’s also able to tow an incredible 3 tons. This power unit, with a 6-speed manual transmission, is standard for the 4WD Navara. A 144hp, 356Nm torque version is available for the 2WD Navara (LHD only). There’s also the option of automatic transmission on the 2WD or 4WD Double Cab.
