Dear colleagues,
If ever you are contacted by a man named Julien Lattes it's a fraud.

He is very friendly, writes perfectly French and will accept your price without negociation. But then something will happen... He will offter you to pay an advance since it's the first time you will be working together. For that he asks for you IBAN. If ever you are contacted by a man named Julien Lattes it's a fraud.

He is very friendly, writes perfectly French and will accept your price without negociation. But then something will happen... He will offter you to pay an advance since it's the first time you will be working together. For that he asks for you IBAN. Then his accountant makes a mistake - instead of transferring you on account the agreed 163 euros they mix you up with another client who should receive 1630 euros. He therefore ask you to help solving the problem and send him back the 1630 euros once you have received them. BUT he does not make a bank transfer but put a check on your account which is of course not valid. I didn't fall for the trick but just wanted to warn you if ever he pops up in here. He said he found me on translatorscafe.
