Just be yourself. You don't have to justify yourself to anyone. Explanation: or you could turn it around: You don't have to justify yourself to anyone, just be yourself. This is actually two separate idioms. ----------------* 'justify yourself: If you justify yourself, you give a good reason for what you have done: It was the only thing that I could do - I don't have to justify myself to anyone.' (Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/justify ) 'justify yourself (= prove that what you are doing is reasonable) I don't have to justify myself to you or anyone else.' (Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English: http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/justify ) ----------------* 'be yourself › to behave in your usual manner, rather than behaving in a way you think other people might like: The best thing you can do is to go into the interview and just be yourself.' (Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/yourself_... ) Example sentence(s):
