peeping tom نظرباز Explanation: Hi Simon, This term exactly means ,"چشم چران","چشم هیز","چشم ناپاک", So I completely agree with two aforementioned suggestuins;But, just one point, If you look for a meaning with historical background I think "نظرباز" is the term you looking for! If you are familiar with our liteary, specially with HAfEZ, you can see different usage of this word, its meaning is somhow complicated, I mean sometimes it has positive meaning (spiritual meaning; mystical meaning) and sometime it refers to a very negative meaning! صوفیان جمله حریفند و نظرباز ولی زین میان حافظ دلسوخته بدنام افتاد میخواره و سرگشته و رندیم و نظرباز و آنکس که درین شهر چو ما نیست کدام است در نظربازی ما بی خبران حیرانند من چنینم که نمودم دگر ایشان دانند So if you need a term with an interesting history,I think, this term is more helpful! |
