I don't think 'scrolling' is the term I'm looking for, but maybe I'm wrong too..? Thanks for offering, anyways. :) I'm looking for the correct translation of *rullere* - in the sense; "taking turn" being displayed on the screen

Another option might be "sequentially", but sequential display might be simultaneous.

I think actually it was me who introduced the notion of alternating, but it could just as well be sliding or rolling on to the screen in some fashion.
