bromeliads Explanation: As Phil says in the reference section, with the bare term you'd never know whether it refers to all bromeliads or to specific species. However, since orchids, aroids and Gesneriaceae are all families, I think it's safe to assume that "quiches" also refers to the entire bromeliad family, in this case. |
