Hi there, anyone knows if we can translate Lord Justice by the judge [target language name]? I know that the meaning is judge, but are we required to keep the original title (Lord) or are we 'free' to use the translation of judge? Is it wrong to drop Lord? Many thanks in advance

This isn't the right place, you should post a question on Kudoz...

On Kudoz it is difficult to get help unless you provide as much context as possible (What exactly are you translating, for whom, where does the term appear - cite the sentence etc.).
Fellow translators are glad to help but only if you provide all the evidence they need!

One approach could be to just use the target language word for "judge", followed by the actual name and title of said judge in brackets, like this:

"The judge (Lord Justice Shabana Mahmood) ruled that... etc."
"La juez (Lord Justice Shabana Mahmood) dictaminó que... etc."
