By asking about the Czech name of the Mercy Bay I had in mind some established name which somebody might be familiar with from a map or a book about polar explorers. Never mind if there is not. However I can assure you I know what is a bay and what means mercy. The more, I also know where it is. So, sorry to say, your answer was not at all helpful.

zatoka alebo zaliv, podla toho ci sa jedna o jazero alebo pobrezie mora, oceanu. Zatoka sucitu, sucitna zatoka ( milosti, milostrdenstva.....)
Osobne by som to neprekladala. Mercy Bay je nazov zatoky.

Mozem k tomu dodat len tolko, ako som uviedla v prvej odpovedi: neprekladala by som to, lebo zemepisne nazvy, sa neprekladaju.

neprekladala bych, ale upresnila, pro ctenare ze je to zatoka nebo zaliv..
