There is a confusion of terminology here between US and UK English, for starters.

In the US, a 'jack' refers very often to a female connector or 'socket', whereas in modern UK usage, it ore often refers to the male jack type of plug that goes into it.

So in UK EN we could say 'a female jack socket', whereas in the US that would sound tautological.

Here, it is clear that they are talking about the unit's having female sockets of the type known as mini-jack — and the latter term is so widely used in FR, it would be somewhat perverse to try and find something less English' to replace it.

Strictly speaking, you ought to specify "3,5 mm mini-jack", since there is also the 2.5 mm standard (more logically a micro-jack, I suppose) — but in practice, "mini-jack" will almost always be assumed to be the 3.5 mm (1/8") type unless otherwise specified.

Gilles is right, inasmuch as 'mini-fiche' would be more accurate for the female connector; it has to be said, though, that mini-fiche gets only a sprinkling of (relevant!) Google hits, compared with mini-jack. Certain seem even to feel the need to put both fiche and jack:
