@Asker The sentence is clear enough to me, as a native English speaker, so I'm not very sure why colleagues are suggesting it might be rephrased in English when you have asked for a Spanish translation. Maybe you could clarify your question: why does the second 'is' case you problems? What's wrong with 'es' in Spanish?

Si entendí bien, lo que no entiendes es la estructura de la oración. Así la diría yo en castellano:
