English to Turkish Social Sciences Military / Defense European Union 2010 Headline Goal

On the one hand, counterterrorism has been incorporated to the five
illustrative scenarios associated to the Military 2010 Headline Goal. These are:
Separation of Parties by Force; Stabilization, Reconstruction, and Military advice
to third countries; Conflict Prevention; Evacuation Operations; and Assistance to
Humanitarian Operations. Since illustrative scenarios serve to identify the types of
crisis situations that the EU may consider tackling using military means, this could
be considered at a first sight as a step forward in the aforementioned direction.
