I think the wording will depend on how you start your sentence:

"El objetivo es recopilar historias locales y convertir esa experiencia en un retorno concreto de lo narrado"

A little looser:

• The goal is to gather local stories and translate the experience into concrete accounts.

• The goal is creating concrete accounts from the local stories gathered.
