I'm going to Australia, and would like to bring my Fujitsu handy drive, similar to a pen drive only with a much larger memory, 60 Gb.

It's plugged in via a USB port.

Will I have any incompatibility problems?

TIA:-)

Ailish

no problems - usb in australia Jul 24, 2006

you shouldn't have any problems, most computer hardware in australia is imported from us/asia like everywhere else anyway, so we use usb ports and firewire ports like everywhere else.

where in australia are you going? we're having a beautifully mild winter... getting nervous that that european summer we're hearing all about might translate to a horrendous summer down here come december too...!

Thanks Melissa, maybe it was a silly question, but one never really knows:-)

I'm going to Sydney and Cairns mainly, but I expect to be travelling around New Sth Wales as well.

Glad to hear your winter is being mild:-) I love summer so hope the change from Spain to Sydney in July-Aug won't be so drastic:-)

Welcome to Australia, Lia! Jul 25, 2006

Feel free to give me a call if you'd like to meet up for coffee / a beer.

I live on Sydney's lower north shore.

Cheers,
alejandra
