I am not even sure it is even Romanian, but the item came from Romania.
It is the inscription on a label/vignette that has a larger inscription in Spanish, 'Viva España Libré". It shows two hands reaching toward each other, one having shackles, the other free.
There are accent marks over some of the letters, but they are hard to make out because the print is so small.
I would appreciate any comments on this. TIA

You're welcome. I can only translate a few pieces of information found via Google:
It was headed by doc. (associate professor) J. Fischer. Before gaining its legal status of Society/Association it existed in the form of a Help Democratic Spain Committee, which was founded on October 22, 1936 by uniting 50 local groups. That same day, about 2500 Czecho-Slovak volunteers (anti-fascists) joined the international brigades (two thirds of them died in the civil war). All this happened while the Czechoslovak government joined the policy of non-interference with the Spanish Civil War on August 21, 1936, and the Czechoslovak Republic became a member of the International Committee for the Control of Non-intervention (constituted on September 9, 1936).

: but I think there's scope for different options. Literally: Society of Friends of Democratic Spain in Prague. An option: Prague Friends of Democratic Spain.
