English term
Slit Incubation temperature out of range
English
Medical
Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
in vitro diagnostics, PCR
I am translating an operators manual for an in vitro diagnostics system software (AmpliLink). I am confused by an explanation given for a certain flag produced by the software.
Detail Flag Code: ‘AP22’
Detail Flag Remark: 'Incubation37 out of range'
Description: Slit Incubation temperature out of range
I haven't actually worked with such a system, and I can't figure out what the "slit" refers to.
The same comes up once elsewhere in text:
"The following temperatures will be monitored by the ... AmpliPrep Instrument
and could generate the flag TEMP_RANGE:
o Internal instrument temperature
o Reagent platform temperature
o Hole incubator temperature
o Slit incubator temperature
o Target release incubator temperature"
