This is in an auditor's report concerning the accounts of a French manufacturer of fertilisers. It comes under notes concerning amounts listed as prepayments.
Factures 2005 concernant les charges 2006 dont
- les prestations du tissage HN03 traduisant la consommation de matière sur 2007 et relative à la campagne n° xxx pour un montant de 104 K€.
I'm assuming HN03 is nitric acid but really don't know what they mean here. The usual meanings of 'tissage' don't seem to fit the context. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks.

Hmm....well, it may be that the idea of "weaving" comes into play as the components of HNO3 being "woven together" or "woven into" the fertiliser, hence the "addition" of HNO3....

Based on my experience working with textile terms, I think that they are referring to the fabrication of the HNO3, whatever that is :-)

Based on the little that we knew in the beginning, fabrication would have worked as long as it wasn't indicated that it was fabrication of HNO3 since it was actually the fabrication of wire cloth.
