Nie znalazlam na googlu odpowiednika polskiego. I co teraz? "Według znaku to początek "Gary Highway" - zostawic w oryginale, zwlaszcza ze pozniej mowia: "te autostrade wybudowal ten i ten"?

Kontekst, moim zdaniem, był wystarczający, z tym, że raczej do wyszukania w Internecie.:) Australijczycy z zachodniej Australii, w dodatku znający polski, dość rzadko zaglądają na to forum.:))

Chodziło mi nie o fakt lokalizacji w Australii (to rzeczywiście jest w nagłówku), tylko że jest to imię potomka budowniczego - czyli nie trzeba grzebać w atlasach w poszukiwaniu miejscowości pod ta nazwą

i jeszcze trochę:

We were on the track by 9am and The Gary Highway continued to be full of surprises, I had driven just 10 kms when I noticed what appeared to be a shimmering mirage through the trees. I thought this was odd as it was too early in the day for the heat to create this effect.
As I drew nearer to the mirage I thought it unusual how it seemed to spread amongst the trees, but then I noticed there were ducks swimming on the mirage. Now that was different I thought!
The Gary Highway disappeared into a huge lake of water directly in front of our convoy, I had been remarking all day yesterday there must be water around here due to the large number of small birds we were seeing. Well here it was.
