mais étant donné que c´est généralement vrai dans le sans ENG=>autre langue, pas sûr de l´existence d´une traduction consacrée en anglais

A few invetive suggestions, in case the translation doesn't yet exist:
"bushiness": using a horticultural metaphor, the development of short, multiple stems
"overabundance": the notion that there is too much on one side of the scale (also "overgrowth")
"riotous abundance": the notion of gardens run wild
"dissymmetry": lacking in symmetry
