The science behind beauty

à fleur de peau: just below the surface of the skin
science just below beauty>? that's literal and wrong, so it means that beauty has science right behind it
Science supports beauty...
this is probably l'Oréal or Lancôme... that's how they write

From science, the beauty of a flower

it is quite banal, I know, but it is not easy at all to translate this in english... If I understand... Italian is similar to french, so it would be easy to maintain the play between "a fior di pelle" e "a fior di bellezza"...

I'll keep on thinking about it :-)

The sciences of beauty

Although "fleur" hardly means "flower", the flower is there, and where "flower" calls to mind a multitude of petals, "sciences" evokes suggests a multitude of areas of "expertise".
