curateur de boîte blanche [ou des boîtes blanches] Explanation: My first reaction was that they were referring to the boxes used to send manuscripts to an editor, with the editor being referred to poetically as a curator. So, my thought was that it should be a literal translation. After a search on Yahoo.fr, I found the following supporting reference for a literal translation. It's a little bit different than my original idea since it seems to point to whoever does the publicity rather than to the editor. Sur les images sont disposées de larges formes géométriques noires ou blanches. Elles annulent l’unicité temporelle et spatiale de l’image et mettent en avant son côté collage et par cela son irréalité. Elles rassemblent aussi sur un même plan : graphisme publicitaire, signalétique de communication, symbolique sportive et code culturel de l’art abstrait.
