: "City" would be clearer in this case since we know that it IS a city. It does have sense of "market" and sometimes can be translated 'market' ("our company/bank/store does really well in that market." (i.e., metro area/region/city)

Thanks. The term "praça" is used to identify a place in financial transactions, that's why in this case tplace is the most indicated translation.

It seems to me we're talking of a "praça" in the sense of a financial center, also called "praça" in Portuguese, both EU or BR. So, I'd go for Business or financial center
